Funding Sources

T

he Zambian Wildlife Authority (ZAWA) provides much of the core funding for the College but without additional help from friends and supporters of the College, many of its training activities would not be possible.  Major support comes from WCS, which has assisted institutional and curriculum development, CBNRM monitoring studies, staff training, and procurements.  USAID has provided support for training and equipment costs.

Making Donations

T

Wildlife Conservation Society at the Bronx Zoo is a close partner with the Zambian Government in promoting the College and its range of services to rural communities participating in the ADMADE program. It works closely with the Zambian Wildlife Authority in helping raise critically needed funds to carry out this work. If you would like to consider a larger, fully tax deductible donation in the USA while also being assured that every cent of your donation is returned to Zambia, please feel free to contact Susan Hannah at the Wildlife Conservation Society (2300 Southern Boulevard, Bronx, NY 10460; 718-220-5090; 718-364-7963 (fax); shannah@wcs.org.).

Zambia Wildlife Authority is the parent institution of the College and welcomes support for its CBNRM, either to the College itself, contributions to wildlife management efforts in the Game Managment Areas or support of its recently instituted CBNRM Directorate.  If there are ways your organization can help and would like to learn more about what needs would be most useful, please contact the Director General, Zambia at Private Bag 1, Chilanga, Zambia or contact us at the College at admade@compuserve. com  or at P.O. Box 82, Mfuwe, Zambia
